Kellie Martin. Martin, a native of the United States is an American TV and film actress. Her most well-known role is for playing Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. Kellie Martin is most well-known for her part as the main character of The Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin is born to a department store seller and a kindergarten teacher started her career as an actress at age seven, when her aunt, who was a nanny to Michael Landon's kids was able to help Martin get a part in the 1982 series "Father Murphy". Following her graduation at Yale University she began to become serious about acting with roles that she was able to land on the smaller screen as well as on the big. Martin is also as a dancer and photographer. Being a mom to two kids, she has become the National spokesperson for Lupus. She has promoted awareness of this disease ever since her younger sister passed away from the illness at age 19.
