Sadie Amara Calvano is an actor from America who has garnered fame by playing Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom "Mom'. Calvano is from California and initially was intrigued by the sport of competitive gymnastics. She decided, later on to pursue a career path in acting. In 2010 she made her debut on screen in an episode from the CBS series 'NCIS.' The actress made her debut on the big screen within a year with the biographical "J Edgar". She is now one of today's most promising actors in recent times. Her performance as 'NCIS, has been nominated by the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance in a Television Series that features the appearance of a Guest Actress between the ages of 11-15. In 2013, she was nominated for an additional Young Artist Award for her guest appearance in Disney XD's comedy series 'Kickin' It'. Calvano played a part in the ensemble cast of Mom for its first three seasons and was featured at least a few times in the fourth. In 2015, her role in the show "Mom" earned her the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
